Summary

• Map classic Project Summary to the native modern component, preserving task-list identity, panel settings (enabled, title, isLatePanel, listUrls, daysToSearch), and ShowTimeline.
• Resolve destination lists rather than reusing source GUIDs or task IDs. Read collection-valued Panels from exported web-part XML because CSOM omits it.
• Preserve the destination's selected timeline membership and single-bar custom date range. Emit an explicit warning that task values reload live, while later timeline selection/configuration changes require remigration. Preserve explicitly empty timelines and report unsupported or ambiguous configurations.

Includes the small parsed-GUID component lookup prerequisite also present in #1305; no Site Feed changes are included.

Validation

• Nine focused Project Summary regression cases pass.
• Framework builds pass for net8.0 and netstandard2.0; modernization tests build/run on net10.0.
• Executed public ConvertTo-PnPPage with verified worktree binaries for same-site and cross-site migrations, each with the timeline enabled and disabled.
• Playwright confirmed edited task titles/dates, completed-task removal from late panels, and newly added primary/additional-list tasks after reload, without remigration or changes to the saved page properties.
• Verified frozen timeline membership separately from live task values; deliberate remigration picked up a changed selection. Verified rendered custom-range geometry and an empty timeline with populated task panels.
• Recycled all six owned test pages and four owned task lists; no existing corpus content was changed.

Limitations

Native component availability depends on the destination's deployed SharePoint version. Classic timeline styling is not reproduced; multiple timeline bars and ambiguous selection are reported rather than silently approximated.

Both sides show the same migrated native Project Summary component. Between captures, only the underlying test tasks and list timeline configuration were changed; the page was reloaded, not remigrated. Screenshots are cropped to the synthetic test content.

Timeline task values

The task title changes to Target live task updated, its due date changes from November 1 to November 4, and the countdown updates. Timeline membership remains the captured selection, as documented by the migration warning.

Live panels

Completing the late task removes it from the late panel. Newly added tasks from both the primary and additional list appear in the upcoming panel after reload. The configured seven-day search window remains in effect.
