In `@src/custom/Carousel/Carousel.tsx`:
- Line 37: Update the dependency array for the effect invoking updateScrollState
to depend on items rather than items.length, so content changes with unchanged
item count trigger recalculation. If rendered children can resize after the
effect runs, observe the items or their size-tracking wrapper with
ResizeObserver and invoke updateScrollState on size changes.

Thanks @Maanvi212006, hiding arrows when there is nothing to scroll removes a misleading affordance, and using visibility keeps the layout stable. The tolerance for fractional scrollLeft and the added aria-labels are thoughtful touches. Checks are green and DCO is signed.
Notes:
ResizeObserveris not available in some test environments (jsdom) or older embedded browsers, which would throw on mount. A small guard keeps the component safe (inline suggestion).- When an arrow is hidden with
visibility: hidden, it is also removed from the accessibility tree, which is what we want, so that is good. - #1841 also edits the imports in this file, so one of the two will need a quick rebase.

A guard keeps this from throwing where ResizeObserver is not defined (for example jsdom without a polyfill):
| const observer = new ResizeObserver(updateScrollState); | |
| if (typeof ResizeObserver === 'undefined') return; | |
| const observer = new ResizeObserver(updateScrollState); |
What this fixes
The
Carouselcomponent (used byPerformersSection/ "Top Performers") always shows both the left and right navigation arrows, even when the row is fully scrolled to the start or end, or when all items already fit on screen with nothing to scroll. This was flagged as part of catalog UX feedback: the arrows give a false signal that there's more content in a direction where there isn't.Change
canScrollLeft/canScrollRightstate, computed from the scroll container'sscrollLeft,clientWidth, andscrollWidth.onScroll, on window resize, and when the item count changes (metrics load asynchronously).visibility: hidden) instead of unmounted, so the carousel's layout doesn't shift when an arrow disappears.scroll-snap-type: x mandatory.aria-labels to both buttons.Only
