I write code. Then I refactor it. Then I refactor it again because “future me deserves better.”
I’m a software engineer who’s been around long enough to have strong opinions about semicolons, CI pipelines, and naming things (the hardest problem, obviously).
⚡ Clean, scalable web apps
🛠️ Developer tools that remove friction
🌍 Small side projects that scratch a random itch
🤖 Automations that save 5 minutes a day (worth it)
If something can be optimized, scripted, or simplified… I’ll probably try.
You’ll find here:
- TypeScript experiments
- Browser extensions
- Utility projects
- Things I built because “why doesn’t this exist already?”
Some projects are serious. Some are just me having fun. All of them taught me something.
- 🏅 olympics-calendar — Olympic & Paralympic calendars you can subscribe to, now covering Milano-Cortina 2026 (live here)
- 🃏 estim8 — real-time planning poker for agile teams, rebuilt with Next.js + WebSockets, now with T-shirt sizing and tests before every deploy
- 🎄 AoC — every Advent of Code since 2015 in TypeScript, warming up for December
- 🔤 avatar-generator — generates every 1–3 letter initials avatar, because why not all 18,000 of them
- 🗺️ geoguessr-timer — Chrome/Firefox extension adding in-game timers to GeoGuessr
Lately I've been pairing with Claude Code on a lot of the small, self-hosted tools that run my home and my week. Me on ideas and reviews, Claude on the typing:
- ⏰ cronos: a tiny Node.js scheduler with a web dashboard that runs my automations: Dependabot auto-merges, TLS certificate expiry alerts, transport card reminders
- 🃏 estim8: T-shirt sizing, a test suite run before every deploy, and a round of bug fixes (zero votes, server crashes, player sync)
- 📹 Home CCTV: watch my cameras live in the browser, with go2rtc turning RTSP into low-latency WebSocket streams
- 🎁 Wishlist: a gift list built from a text file of product links, where guests can reserve a gift
- 📚 Mes devoirs: a homework practice app with English vocabulary drills
- 🛒 Grocery receipts: a Playwright scraper that downloads supermarket invoices and charts the price history of everything I buy
- 💶 Budget: my personal finance app, now with bank imports and Docker healthchecks
- 🔒 apache-certbot: an Apache reverse proxy in Docker with automatic Let's Encrypt certificates
Turns out "automate the boring stuff" gets a lot faster when someone else writes the boilerplate.
TypeScript · JavaScript · Node.js · React · Next.js · WebSockets · Docker · AWS · CI/CD · Chrome Extensions · Whatever solves the problem without overengineering it
- Keep it simple.
- Make it readable.
- Automate the boring stuff.
- Ship.
- Improve.
- Repeat.
✈️ After living in Ireland 🇮🇪 for several years, I’m happily coding back in France 🇫🇷.- ☕ Coffee fuel and well-timed commits keep me going.
- 🛠️ I enjoy building small utilities and extensions that make everyday workflows smoother.
If you’re into clean code, smart tooling, or just nerding out about architecture — welcome 👋
