.NET 8 support ends on November 10, 2026. Radical.Windows 4.0.0 drops .NET 8 and targets net10.0-windows (#642). It ships from release-4.0, where 4.0.0-beta.1 was tagged, soon after November 10.
4.0.0-beta.1 targets net8.0-windows, so the minimum runtime changes during the 4.0 pre-releases. Compared to 3.0.0, the last stable release, 4.0.0 requires .NET 10.
Remove .NET 8 support #642 is merged into master and cherry-picked into release-4.0. That also drops the .NET 8 tests, so only net10.0-windows is tested.
Re-approve the public API on release-4.0 if the retarget changes it: not needed, the public API is unchanged.
Radical.Windows 4.0.0 is released: release notes, and the package is on NuGet.org. It targets net10.0-windows and depends on Radical [3.0.0, 4.0.0).
The release job built the package from the 4.0.0 tag, but NuGet.org rejected the push because the NUGET_API_KEY secret held an expired key. The package that CI built from the tag was uploaded by hand. Releases now publish through trusted publishing instead (#669, #673, #674).
