Pixel-art title screen: YUNUS, full-stack and cloud engineer. Useful tools. Playful worlds. A red-hooded hero walks to a campfire, stomps a code bug and collects a coin.

Player 1 character sheet with Yunus's photo. Class: full-stack and cloud engineer. Party: Claude, build partner. Inventory: Yunus OS, dwago, capture-check, and Hushfall in development.

Hey, I’m Yunus. I build useful tools, games and playful interfaces, and share the code, demos and decisions behind them.

Open source: things you can use today

Yunus OS card: a pixel desktop with a code graph, a console answering a workspace summary, a task that asks for approval, and a voice assistant.

Yunus OS · my repositories, pull requests and tasks in one place, with a little assistant that can talk back. Try the browser demo without installing anything, then run it locally to connect your own workspace. Voice and model integrations are optional, and supported actions ask for approval.

Try it in your browser · Run locally · Watch the demo · Report a problem

dwago card: a pixel brain map where files are neurons and imports are wiring. A file is selected and strikes run along its edges to connected files.

dwago · explore a repository through its symbols, imports and git history. Ask questions, trace the impact of a change, and see how files connect in an interactive brain map. Answers point back to the code. The card shows example queries such as how do we prevent double charging?

dwago brain map: files as neurons, communities as lobes, imports as wiring and gold churn hotspots

capture-check card: a frame timeline where steady 16.67 ms frames hit a 216.67 ms stall. Status fail, cadence 27.27 fps, median 16.67 ms. Then the steady sample passes at 60 fps.

capture-check · a small tool I made while improving my game recordings. It checks source-frame timestamps for slow capture cadence and stalls, with CSV/JSONL input and clear timing reports. In the stall example the median stays at 16.67 ms, which is why the median alone can hide a stall.

Bug hunt: fixes I’m sending upstream, with live status

I’m also digging into bugs in other open-source tools. Each fix is a boss fight: when a pull request merges, its bug is defeated. Statuses are read from GitHub automatically.

Bug 01, Portty (chestso/portty #9): Fix library paths and signing in macOS ZIPs. Status: merged. Bug 02, urfave/cli (urfave/cli #2460): Fix a GenericFlag panic with payload getters. Status: merged. Bug 03, Unity MCP (CoplayDev/unity-mcp #1448): Optional MCP log filter, with regression tests. Status: open, awaiting review. Bug 04, Mermaid (mermaid-js/mermaid #8400): Stop temporary diagrams shifting the page. Status: open, in review. Bug 05, Uppy (transloadit/uppy #6688): Keep retried uploads from looking done early. Status: open, awaiting review. Bug 06, MoviePy (Zulko/moviepy #2598): Tested the mono audio fix and followed up. Status: reviewed and reproduced (pull request by another author). Bug 07, Bat (sharkdp/bat #4018): Regression test for Unicode tab alignment. Status: regression test adopted by the author (pull request by another author). Bug 08, Bubbles (charmbracelet/bubbles #1032): Help rendering test, now golden tests. Status: regression test adopted by the author (pull request by another author). Bug 09, axe-core (dequelabs/axe-core #5457): Fix false role warnings on carousel panels. Status: open, awaiting review.

Live status (from GitHub, refreshed every 6 hours): Portty #9 merged · urfave/cli #2460 merged · Unity MCP #1448 open, awaiting review · Mermaid #8400 open, in review · Uppy #6688 open, awaiting review · MoviePy #2598 reviewed and reproduced · Bat #4018 regression test adopted by the author · Bubbles #1032 regression test adopted by the author · axe-core #5457 open, awaiting review

In the workshop: work in progress

Dwago: Journey to Hushfall, in development. A real gameplay capture framed like a game screen, cycling through gold, rose, violet and night lighting moods as flat colour tints.

Dwago: Journey to Hushfall · a cozy adventure I’m building with satisfying combat, boss fights and a world full of secrets. I’m sharing gameplay clips as it takes shape.
