Backend Engineer | Real-Time Systems & Solana

UTC+8 · worldwide remote

Sole backend owner of a verifiable AI-asset exchange: lock-free order book with 0.8 ms median match (Go/Rust), deterministic multi-sig escrow contracts (Solidity/Foundry), and real-time market data over WebSocket + gRPC.

🔨 What I'm building here

All repos below are portfolio reconstructions — built from scratch to demonstrate engineering I do, inspired by production work described on my LinkedIn. Not code from any employer.

  • anchor-escrow-vault — Solana escrow vault program (Anchor): deterministic state machine, authority checks, full test suite.
  • realtime-event-bus — TypeScript WebSocket event bus: topic subscribe/fan-out, backpressure, reconnect. Zero dependencies.
  • ledger-api-go — Go ledger/settlement API: double-entry semantics, idempotency keys, observability. Stdlib only.
  • webhook-relay-ts — TypeScript webhook relay: HMAC verification, retry backoff, delivery audit log. Zero dependencies.

🏢 Background

  • Tokenta — Full Stack Engineer (sole backend owner), Apr 2026–Present, Remote. Architected the backend from zero: matching engine, escrow contracts, multi-chain RPC orchestration, WebSocket + gRPC market data.
  • Goldsky — Backend Engineer Intern, Sep 2023–Aug 2025, Remote. Multi-chain RPC scheduler and contract event listeners in Go; tuned Kafka ingestion, cut ingestion-to-query latency p99 by ~38%.
  • Reservoir Protocol — Backend Engineer Intern, Feb–Aug 2023, Remote. EIP-712 wallet-signature verification and aggregation-routing APIs (TypeScript); Solidity adapters tested against forked mainnet (Foundry).
  • Flipside Crypto — Backend Engineer Intern, Jul 2022–Jan 2023, Remote. Block crawlers and transaction-parsing services (Python/Go); curated warehouse on Snowflake/ClickHouse; idempotent backfill with checkpointing and DLQs.

Education: MEng Electrical & Electronic Engineering, University of Nottingham Ningbo China (2025–2026) · BEng, Guangdong University of Technology (2018–2022)

🤖 Also: AI infrastructure

AI Infrastructure & MLOps for autonomous systems (UNNC): deep-reinforcement-learning training infrastructure — Python/PyTorch training loops against a C simulation backend over TCP sockets, 30 concurrent agents, 15 training seeds. The repos above stay backend-focused; this is where the other half of my work lives.

Everything here is written by me, tested, and iterated in the open. If a number appears, it was measured; if a claim appears, it's on my LinkedIn.
