MetaMask Embedded Wallets — Sign Protocol

React + Vite example using MetaMask Embedded Wallets (powered by Web3Auth) to create and verify on-chain attestations via Sign Protocol on EVM (Sepolia). Users authenticate with social login and use their derived wallet with @ethsign/sp-sdk and Wagmi/viem to sign attestations on-chain.

Prerequisites

• Node.js 22.12+
• npm
• A Client ID from the Dashboard

Setup

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/Web3Auth/web3auth-examples.git
cd web3auth-examples/other/sign-protocol-example

2. Install dependencies

npm install

3. Configure environment variables

cp .env.example .env

Edit .env:

VITE_WEB3AUTH_CLIENT_ID=YOUR_CLIENT_ID

4. Run the application

npm run dev

Visit http://localhost:5173 in your browser.
